Your privacy on this website.
This notice covers the ActiPub website, accounts, web workspace, contact messages and existing email subscriptions. Additional services will have their own notices before you use them.
This website is operated by ActiPub Ltd.
What we collect
We store account details, protected login credentials, email confirmation records, tasks and shared project data you provide. Technical information helps prevent abuse. This website does not request identity documents or payment details.
Why we use it
We use your information to operate your account and workspace, send requested account security messages and answer support requests. Existing email subscriptions remain separate; they are not converted into accounts.
Who processes it
ActiPub uses hosting and email delivery providers to operate this website and send the messages you request. Information needed to provide those services may be processed outside your country. Access is limited to operating and protecting the website, managing the waitlist and answering your messages.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe through the link in a waitlist email. Unsubscribing removes your subscriber record, including your email and consent details. Contact us to ask about your information, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern.
Storage and browser preferences
Essential session and security cookies keep the website working. Theme preferences are stored in your browser. Offline task copies are optional, limited to seven days and intended for private devices. Legacy unconfirmed subscriptions expire after seven days and confirmed subscriptions after twelve months.
Messages to the ActiPub team
When you contact us, we use your name, email and message to answer your request. The message is sent to the ActiPub team through our email provider, and authorized administrators can access it in the support mailbox. This does not subscribe you to updates. Avoid sending passwords, identity documents or payment details. Closing the popup keeps your draft on this page; navigating away clears it. Contact us to request correction or deletion of your correspondence.
Offline task copy
Save up to 100 recently updated tasks of your own (512 KiB) on this browser for seven days. This includes notes and checklists. Anyone using this browser can read the copy without signing in; it is not encrypted. Avoid shared devices. Saving replaces the previous copy. Sign-out or Remove clears it. Remote changes and revoked access cannot erase a disconnected copy immediately.
Accounts and workspace data
The web and Android apps share your account name, email, language, confirmed-email status, device sessions, tasks, checklists and shared-project records. Passwords are hashed; account email addresses are encrypted at rest. Project titles, notes and assignments are available to their current members and are processed by the server; they are not end-to-end encrypted chat. Registration does not join the launch-update mailing list. Contact ActiPub for account-data or deletion requests; self-service account deletion is not yet available.
Browser sessions and drafts
A necessary HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in. Theme preferences use local browser storage. If you choose Save a browser draft, one unsent personal or project-task draft is stored in IndexedDB on that browser, up to 32 KiB. Saving replaces the previous draft. It expires after seven days and is removed when you next use the workspace. It is not end-to-end encrypted; avoid shared devices. Sign out or use Delete browser draft to clear it. Server tasks and membership records remain until an approved data-retention or deletion process removes them; marking a task deleted is not an immediate permanent erasure.
